A boy from Britain created a petition for Apple to change the glasses emoji

Ten-year-old Teddy Cottle from Oxfordshire in southern England created a petition to get Apple to change the glasses emoji. The child drew his own version, which could replace the one used.

Teddy wears glasses and finds it offensive how Apple portrayed people who also wear them. In his drawing, the boy changed his toothy grin to a small smile. In his opinion, the current emoji creates the wrong and “absolutely terrible” impression of people with glasses.
