A drone that can dive underwater has been developed

PetaPixel reported on February 14, 2023 that the drone, called             TJ-FlyingFish, was developed by scientists and researchers from the Unmanned Systems Research Group at China's Shanghai Intelligent Autonomous Systems Research Institute, Tongji University, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The goal of the project is to create a dual air and water drone capable of operating in two terrestrial environments, and to significantly expand the capabilities of drones that currently operate only in air or only in water.

TJ-FlyingFish is designed to operate completely without human intervention and is fully autonomous. This increases the possibility of using the finished version of the drone. Since it does not require a pilot, it can be useful for all kinds of research, both underwater and above.
